COVERT EVERYDAY PROTECTION

Understated elegance fit for every environment, Grayman and Company sunglasses shield your eyes behind impact-resistant lenses with a universal look that doesn't attract the same kind of attention as tactical-styled ballistic eye protection.

BLEEDING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY
OUTCLASSES EVERY OTHER LENS MATERIAL

In Osaka, Japan, the culmination of years of meticulous research and development occurred in March 2020, with the production of a urethane lens technology that few have had the fortune of working with. Compared to the polycarbonate lenses traditionally used for ballistic eyewear, our urethane lenses are a technological leap, with scratch-resistance and clarity rivalling crown glass.

IMPACT RESISTANCE

Successfully tested by a certified, industry-leading lab against the ANSI Z87+ high velocity impact lens test, a 6.35mm steel ball launched at over 150fps*

CLARITY

With an ABBE value exceeding 45 and with 40 Lines of Resolution (the maximum score on the clarity test) these lenses see clearer than your eyes can.

SCRATCH RESISTANCE

Our urethane lenses exceed the scratch resistance of mineral glass with a Bayer Abrasion test rating of 6/6. Polycarbonate lenses used in ballistic eyewear are strong but vulnerable to scratches with a Bayer rating of 1/6.

THREE STYLES WITH STORIED HERITAGE

THE KEYHOLEKH11

A silhouette seen on both rebel James Dean and anonymous authorities in the Men in Black. These are true timeless classics, distinctively recognizable and popular bordering on uniform. Our keyhole-style nose bridge gives the shape an even more elegant and sophisticated air while the rounded bottoms imply a gentle but debonair quality. Width is ideal for pupilary distance (PD) 70 and smaller.

SMALL KEYHOLEKH12

Shorter and less round than our taller Keyhole frame. These frames have a more utilitarian and understated feel. Keeping the basic silhouette of iconic sunglass shapes but stripped of their distinctive flares, these are adaptable, discerning and inscrutable. Width is ideal for pupilary distance (PD) 70 and smaller.

ACETATE AVIATORKH12

Invoking a long and proud history, the use of acetate to build the aviator frame became popular in the 1970s. This retro look balances daring character with familiar tradition. The absence of shiny metallic hardware results in a more understated and elegant take on the 1936 military design. Width is ideal for pupilary distance (PD) 71 and smaller.
