Notch

Notch lapels are the most versatile and can suit any occasion equally. Wider lapels are bold and commanding; narrower lapels are more understated and restrained. Lower gorges are a more vintage look, but flattering for shorter necks. Higher gorges tend to look younger and more modern but are better for longer necks to maintain a more proportionate frame for the head.
